Vegetable Vol-au-vaunt

Taysted-Firepit-Vol-au-vaunt-2Hidden between flaky gruyere puff pastry are spinach, artichokes, wild mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and red pearl onions doused in a rich and flavorful cream sauce aside red pepper coulis. The earthy flavors of winter’s finest vegetable blend perfectly with the tangy pepper coulis, rounded off in the richness of the cream sauce.

Served alongside the filled pastry is a small salad made of arugula, dressed in a simple (but tasty) olive oil and white balsamic vinegar dressing.
