Mouthwatering Nostalgia

As you walk into the quaint Tomato Pie Café you are sure to be greeted with a smile and may find yourself swaying to the sound of swing music. Surrounded by fedora hats, suspenders, and vests, for a moment you will be whisked back to the 1900s. It is the charm of the yellow and green Victorian house that owners Chris and Karen Fisher fell in love with 5 years ago.  The original soda fountain is still functional and being used today to create modern day espresso drinks.

“I am eclectic in my love for food and decor,” says Karen.  Her creativity shines throughout the menu as well as the ever-changing features. From the start she knew her twist on the common southern dish Tomato Pie would be a hit, but not this big! Its popularity has certainly surpassed her expectations.  Although the pie continues to be the star of the show, the menu offers so much more: breakfast favorites such as the Fried Eggs and Brie, Fennel Sausage and Butternut Squash Hash, to Parmesan Grit Cakes. The lunch and dinner menu is filled with fresh salads and paninis, along with the popular turkey burger nestled in a bed of tender butter lettuce, and topped with a caramelized onion jam and creamy goat cheese. The signature Basil Mint Smoothie made with Greek yogurt, fresh basil and mint, along with the unique Raw Cappuccino are among the favorites of many. The fair trade coffee is roasted by local Square One Roasters. And who can resist the never-ending selection of freshly baked desserts from their own bakery?

The Lititz Tomato Pie Cafe has two upstairs private dining rooms for your special events. Contact our events team to discuss your custom menu at
