The Taste of All-American

— From the pages of Taysted #03

Mick’s All American Pub has a great mission statement: Good food at a fair price with great service. Mick Owens assures his customers that they will experience all three of these important factors when they dine with him. Mick’s has been open since 2008 with three locations in Mount Joy, Lancaster, and Lititz.

The Pub’s menu focuses on a variety of nationalities when it comes to American food. Guests at the same table can order foods with various influences, such as Southwest-inspired wraps, Mexican-American fajitas, or cozy comfort foods like bacon cheddar meatloaf.

By far, wings are their biggest selling menu item. Mick’s sells 2,000 pounds of wings per week between all three locations. That’s roughly 1,400 dozen wings a week! Their delicious jumbo wings are fresh (never frozen) and deep fried. With so many flavors to choose from, you will never get bored.

Sandwiches come in close second, with some amazing ingredient combinations. You may want to try out their Pubwich (turkey, sliced prime rib, coleslaw, onion rings, swiss cheese, and house dressing on a toasted pretzel bread roll) or their Stephanie (turkey, coleslaw, swiss cheese, and horseradish mayo on grilled rye bread). And make sure to try their burgers, made with six ounces of juicy ground angus beef. Mmmm!
