Lunch at Gracie’s on West Main

gracieslunch10Gracie’s on West Main, started by Jim and Gracie, is tucked away in the Leola Business Center on Route 23. Countless surprises are hidden inside the restaurant. Cheerful yellow and blue walls, inspirational quotes and beautiful chalk drawings, smiling faces all around, and incredible food with unique flavor combinations are found within.

Both Jim and Gracie have strong roots in the food industry which started at a young age. They have a passion for sourcing as much as they can locally, and putting unusual twists on the incredible dishes they serve in their quickly growing restaurant. They recently expanded their seating from what was 16 seats in June of 2013 to 90 seats as of April 2016. Needless to say, Gracie’s on West Main is doing it right.

As soon as FLL sales representative Todd Geiger and I walked into Gracie’s, we were greeted with a smiling face and taken to our seats immediately. Large windows surrounding the dining rooms let beautiful sunlight in, allowing us to soak in the richness of the afternoon as we chose our drinks.

Gracie brought out their most popular lunch item: homemade Almond-Grape and Dill Chicken Salad. It was served on a tasty, buttery croissant alongside a fresh salad with homemade dressing. The texture alone was incredible. You could taste tender chicken tossed in a creamy dressing, with crunchy almonds and juicy grapes.

gracieslunch8From the moment we walked in, Todd started telling me about the Triple Bacon BLT Sandwich. He said it was by far one of his favorite items on the menu. Guess what the sweet and charming Gracie brought out for us?

I’m telling you, there were layers of amazing flavor on this sandwich. Piled on fresh toasted sourdough bread (which is delivered fresh from Philly each day), Jim layered three types of bacon: Irish bacon, double-smoked bacon, and carmelized bacon. It is served with their infamous chipotle aoli. You can even add a fried egg to it for $1 extra!

Their lunch menu is extensive. If you’re looking for something a little different to jump start your afternoon, you absolutely must pay Gracie’s a visit.

Side Note: Gracie’s is BYOB friendly!
