With intentions of a different experience, rather than solely basing the day around drinking adult beverages, Jim and Gracie (owners of Gracie’s on Main) are offering an Irish Tasting Menu.
For just $50 per person, guests can enjoy a seven-course experience, and it’s BYOB! Jim and Gracie suggest white wine and/or Guinness, and possibly a splash of Bailey’s for coffee with dessert.
1st course: Drunken Mussels & Irish Soda Bread
Mussels cooked in Irish cider with garlic, leeks, a splash of white wine served with a house made Irish soda bread.
2nd course: Fish Stew
Root vegetables and North Atlantic Cod cooked it a creamy fish broth also served with soda bread.
3rd course: Irish Fish Fry
Guinness beer-battered cod fried to perfection and served with mushy peas.
4th course: Irish Pastie
Chicken and leek stuffed Irish pastie served with a baby kale salad.
5th course: Shepherd’s Pie
Smoked herb crusted boneless leg of lamb served with root vegetables in a lamb gravy, topped with a Irish butter mashed potatoes.
6th course: Steak & Guinness Pie
Steak, leeks, mushrooms, parsnips, and potatoes in a Guinness gravy and topped with puff pastry.
7th course: Guinness Oatmeal Stout Pie
Topped with a Bailey’s marshmallow topping.
