Not only does Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (HMAC) serve lunch, dinner, beer, cocktails and more, they also serve Sunday Brunch!
You’ll be impressed by the exterior of the building alone when you pull up to HMAC. Their dining room is vast, with an open warehouse-like plan. Local art of every kind you can imagine is displayed on the walls. Each piece is for sale, with the entire profit going to the artist. HMAC supports the local art scene and is always up to something new and different.
You can immediately see their massive menu displayed on a wall-sized blackboard painted on the side wall by the bar. They serve small plates (such as cheese with honey and jam, pickled vegetables, an olive plate, soft pretzels, fried pickles, and cheesesteak fries), sandwiches (my personal favorite being the farmstead grilled cheese, and Todd really enjoyed the midtown burger), and a variety of salads. They also offer “big plates” such as chicken fried chicken, steak and frites, fish and chips, and southern fried steaks. Their side dishes, like hand-cut truffled herb fries and rainbow carrot-radish slaw, are difficult to choose from. And don’t forget to treat yourself to a craft beer or a unique cocktail!
And, my favorite of course, they serve SUNDAY BRUNCH from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Don’t forget to catch one of their exciting shows in the Capitol Room!
