Known for their pig roasts, Dean and Carole Ziegler have been catering for 25 years. The couple started small—but as their family grew, so did their business. The Ziegler’s son, Brandon—owner of Zig’s Bakery and Café—took over a local family bakery and everything has gone uphill since then.
As stylized weddings have become popular for brides, less couples are deciding to tie the knot in churches. Barn weddings are sought out by brides and grooms alike for their rustic, down-to-earth atmosphere. The Ziegler family came together—Carole, Dean, Carole’s sister Chris Myer, their son Brandon, and their daughter Heather—to bring their vision to life. The result was Brick Gables event space.
Brick Gables has quickly become a favorite place to have events in Lititz—from beautiful weddings, to special parties, to organizational meetings. They offer locally sourced farm-to-table catering, as well as packages for weddings. They even have a courtyard outside for wedding ceremonies which holds 250 guests. The barn itself can hold up to 300 standing guests. Heat and air conditioning have been installed to make guests comfortable, no matter what type of weather mother nature brings.
They can provide linens, china, glassware, silverware, tables, matching chairs, and even seat covers. For meetings and weddings, there is a projector and screen for anything from PowerPoint presentations to photography slideshows. There is a small prep kitchen upstairs, a large kitchen downstairs, and even an elevator.
The Ziegler family loves witnessing people enjoying what they have preserved, restored, and constructed. “It’s so rewarding to watch,” says Heather, daughter and event planner. Book Brick Gables for your special event, or stop in to visit this gorgeous location.
