Most “bar food” is something “easy.” You know, fried food or nachos that are simple to plate for the bar customers. Not so at the Pressroom – Matt Titter puts as much love in the dishes that hit the bar as those that go to the dining room. Wings? Yes, of course, but not the typical. How about wings kissed by the grill and tossed in chipotle butter, served with tomoto jam? Feeling like a complex dish to accompany your libation? Try the PEI mussels with chorizo straight from Rooster Street Provisions. Our favorite that day was the duck fried oyster dish. Served with both tomato jam and old bay aioli. Crunch on the outside, creamy and briny on the inside… yes please, and a cold beer will be perfect with that thanks.
Plus, Matt has now launched a Saturday night, live music schedule. Live music, stunning food and an overall fantastic atmosphere lets you know that the Pressroom is now a place to be… often!
