Donna Lussier finished pastry school ten years ago after her son, Nate, went to college. Her goal was to finish school and start her own business.
The lovely La Petite Pattisserie started out as a charming stand at market for four years—a place where customers could indulge in something sweet during a busy workday. However, Donna quickly outgrew her six-by-eight-foot stand and wanted to expand her business. And now in her eighth year, Donna specializes in cakes, pastries, and tea parties.
Her new location on Prince Street, daintily decorated in all things pretty and pink, allows for 34 seated people; customers can order coffee and a pastry to go or sit down for lunch with a friend.
You can even make reservations for a full tea, which includes scones, cream, and preserves, followed by savory tea sandwiches, and finishes with a sweet treat. Of course, a full tea also includes a vintage teacup full of cozy, warm tea from a fresh variety of black, red, green, white, or flavored teas. La Petite Pattisserie is the perfect place for a unique birthday party or bridal shower.
Whether you want to order decadent favors for your wedding or you crave quality time making memories with a friend, La Petite Pattisserie offers a beautiful space to enjoy the sweetest things in life. After all, “a party without cake is just a meeting” (Julia Child).
